Corriga Rebel claimed his second Cup of the season in Johnstown and Urlingford beating Kyle Dixie to claim the Paddy Doyle Memorial Cup. A winner already at the Galway and Oranmore fixture in Loughrea, Rebel has take some significant scalps enroute to 8 Champion Stakes points. Owned by the Walsh’s in Cavan, Rebel got the better of Kyle Dixie, running up his second final of the season, to claim the silverware.
Gowayoudat was denied her second Cup of the season in the All Age Bitch Stake as she lost out to Ardnalee Eva in the deciding course. The daughter of Matt Hyland and Ardnalee Gold, ran up two Trial Stakes last season and she got the better of the Oaks semi-finalist Gowayoudat here.
The Oaks Trial Stake saw Foxhill Penny denied in the final by Windgap Breeze. The David Tuohy owned bitch was making only her second outing of the year having lost out in the opening round in Glin at the beginning of the season.
Kingsmill Vibe must be one of the most unlucky dogs of the season losing out in the final of the Reserve Derby Trial Stake here to Eastern Shore. Kingmill lost out in the final of the Reserve Trial Stake in Waterford, the semi-final of the 64 dog Trial Stake in New Ross and lost in Knockgraffon last week to Go Conquer.
Eastern Shore for his part is a son of Kingsmill Dynamo and Lochbo Polly and owned by Ernest Smith. He made his only outing of the season in Freshford.
