Isle of Dreams claims Champion Puppy at Co. Tipperary meeting

Legion Express, a son of Murtys Gang and Walk A Way, has won the Junction All Age Cup at the Co. Tipperary meeting in Galbally. Owned by Noel Delaney, Legion Express was only a second reserve coming into the meeting but got the better of Foxhill Johnny, Father Flash and Bridies Dashing enroute to the final. There he beat Jacksons Lane, a dog who had come in for some support with Boyles during the week.

The Champion Bitch Stake saw Uptown Bliss take the honours, in her first appearance in over a year, for owner Aisling Browne. The daughter of Kyle James and Cillowen Gra won the Trial Stake in Ennis-Clarecastle last season. She got the better of Liscanny Rose in the decider.

Berkie Browne’s had a good couple of weeks having had a share in Champion Bitch winner Collect Me Now and now having the Armshaw Champion Puppy winner as Isle Of Dreams claimed the honours. A son of Kingsmill Dynamo and Eshwary Star, Isle Of Dreams was beaten in the final of the Castleisland Trial Stake.

The Lattin and Emly Puppy Stake was won by Bunnow Hulahul for the Four Thirds Syndicate. This was the fifth appearance of the season for Bunnow but he made no mistake against High Rise in the final.
